The challenge
Problem
The Chicago Department of Water Management runs thousands of street and parkway openings every year for water main, valve, and hydrant work. Those openings need fast, spec-compliant concrete repair so the public way can reopen on schedule.
How we delivered
Approach
Zenith holds a sub-tier term agreement under Sumit Construction for the repair scope: PCC base course, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, ADA ramps, and utility-structure adjustments. Crews are sequenced ward-by-ward; QC sign-offs land directly with the inspector at the close of each opening.
What it produced
Outcome
Active program valued at $1.25M with rolling repair completed across multiple Chicago wards. Zero recordable incidents on the program to date.
